St. Lucy’s family, today we celebrate Holy Thursday. It was the day Jesus could spend time with his disciples before he got arrested and eventually tasted death. It was a quiet night, but the air was heavy. Familia de Santa Lucía, hoy celebramos el Jueves Santo. Era el día en que Jesús podía pasar tiempo con sus discípulos antes de ser arrestado y luego morir. Era una noche tranquila, pero el aire era pesado.

St. Lucy’s family, in the Gospel today, Martha and Mary have experienced death of their loved brother Lazarus. Lazarus was one of Jesus’ best friends along with Martha and Mary. Today’s Gospel passage is about Jesus’ healing grace for a blind man. When Jesus decided to heal him, he didn’t just heal the man right away on the spot with words like “Be healed.” Instead, he told him “Go to Silom and wash.”

Good morning St. Lucy’s. It is the 4th Sunday of Lent. It means we are in the very middle of Lenten season and standing on the peak of Lenten journey

St. Lucy’s Family, please rejoice with me! Finally, we have a brand new heater and air conditioner system.

We are all helping the church. Some help St. Lucy’s with their ministries such as helping with mass, choir, altar servers, and catechists. Some help St. Lucy’s with their church group activities.

Hi St. Lucy’s family, I’d like to propose my idea and make an important decision with you in the next Finance Council meeting. It is to prioritize Parish Remodeling and Grotto Projects. I’ve realized that we have lots of works to be done for its urgency and practical need such as new restrooms, new main A/C and heater unit for the church, remodeling back patio of the church, new office, and new shed and so on. We are expecting the project of St. Mary’s Grotto. However, in terms of the projects’ urgency and practical need, I want the other church projects to be done first.
